Sarah Roman has a Master's Degree in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California. She earned the degree while working at the top-rated Los Angeles TV station, KTLA, as a producer.
Sarah's TV career started with internships at local stations in Florida, where she went to undergrad. After graduation, she moved back to her home state of California and got a part-time production crew job in Chico. That led to a news producing job in Medford, OR at the NBC affiliate there. From Medford, her news producing career took her to KMAX in Sacramento, CBS Bay Area & NBC Bay Area, KTLA & NBC Los Angeles. She earned three Emmy Awards for her work with KTLA. In addition to news, Sarah has also worked on several entertainment shows, including her TV goal of "Survivor".
Outside of television, Sarah has worked as a Senior Operations Manager for a start-up and an Events Lead for several venues in Los Angeles. Her passions include writing, mentoring & animals.
