Primitivo PR students ventured into San Francisco yesterday to visit public relations teams at Hotwire Global Communication and the San Francisco Giants. The first stop was Hotwire Global Communications where COMS alum and former Primitivo GMs, Brooklynn Miller, Lauren Fernandes, Zach Bonilla, and Catherine Eisenhauer are all thriving as young professionals. When Brooklynn was a GM, the class visited Hotwire and that was her first introduction to the company and they hired her soon after graduation. After a panel of speakers from Hotwire along with meeting their International CEO, the students went to Oracle Park to visit with various members of their Communications team and get a park tour. Students were able to see the executive suite level, press box, broadcaster's booth, field level, and opposing team's locker room during the tour. They also heard from a panel of young professionals who work in media relations, community outreach, and community relations. It was a great opportunity for networking for the students and to also learn more about careers that they may be interested in pursuing.
