Jonah Raskin has been retired from teaching at SSU for 7 years, but he is now writing and publishing more than ever before. He works for the North Bay Bohemian, the Valley of the Moon magazine, the Anderson Valley Advertiser, and CounterPunch to name a few. His second murder mystery, Dark Day, Dark Night, is set in Sonoma County and features a woman private eye who learned her smarts on the street and in the wilderness. Jonah misses the classroom and interactions with students, many of whom he encounters in his wanderings around northern California.
