My name is Joy Hano, and I’m the Communications Manager at Fish On, a California-based nonprofit that brings fishing communities into ocean conservation and advocates for healthy fisheries, equitable coastal access, and a thriving ocean.
We’re launching our first-ever summer internship program and would be grateful for your help sharing it with students, student organizations, or relevant college and university contacts!
Our Coastal Storytelling Internship will select up to five college-level interns to create an original project exploring the changes along California’s coast, fishery abundance, fishing communities, and our relationship with the ocean.

Thank you for helping us get this opportunity in front of students who may connect with the work! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
