Sitting Room Internship
The Sitting Room Library (walking distance to SSU) is seeking an intern for the Fall Semester. They are a library specializing in the collected work of women writers (novelists, poets, essayists etc) as well as artists. They also sponsor book groups, literary events, writing classes and curate exhibits. Additionally, they provide coffee, tea and a safe space.
They can offer a one-unit internship (45 hours total during the semester; unpaid). Students who have interned at the Sitting Room have gone onto graduate programs in English Literature, Creative Writing, Library Science and Museum Studies as well as Archival Studies.
