The Sonoma County Family YMCA is seeking a service-driven Membership Coordinator to help lead our frontline membership experience. In this role, you’ll be a key part of building strong relationships, supporting staff, and ensuring every member and guest feels valued and connected.

Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time position (approximately 25 hours per week) with a flexible, variable schedule.
Candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts, including:
- Early mornings
- Afternoons
- Evenings
- Weekends
This flexibility is essential to support our members and operations across all hours of service.
What You’ll Do
As a Membership Coordinator, you’ll play a leadership role in ensuring an exceptional member experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Support, train, and guide Membership staff and Welcome Center Attendants
- Help manage schedules and day-to-day operations
- Coordinate financial assistance programs and scholarship awards
- Foster membership growth and retention through relationship-building
- Oversee accurate data entry and membership records
- Support events, promotions, and community partnerships
- Respond to member needs and assist in resolving concerns
- Step in to provide leadership in the absence of the Membership Director
You’ll be at the heart of creating a welcoming, organized and engaging environment for all.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of customer service or supervisory experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, outgoing, and inclusive approach to service
- Proficiency with computers and data systems
Bonus if you bring experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite!
